Good News: Xavier Institute of Communications launches Diploma Course in Event Planning

Read Time: 3 min

It is really good news for event management aspirants who were looking for a prominent college of India to pursue an event management course

A unit of St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous) Mumbai, Xavier Institute of Communication (XIC), has introduced a 10-month diploma course in ‘Event Planning and Experiential Marketing’ in the beginning 2020-21 academic year. Students can now enroll themselves in the full-time course to pursue their career in event planning and experiential marketing.

While the Events industry has garnered a very optimistic growth in the media ecosystem, reality showed a dearth of qualified event professionals at the entry level. To plug this gap, XIC has stepped-up to the plate to give the Communications community, another breed of well qualified Event Practitioners,” said Dr. Fr. Conrad Pesso, SJ Director of XIC.

Furthermore, he said, “Some of our current courses like ‘Advertising & Marketing’, ‘Public Relations’ and the ‘Advanced Integrated Communication Programme’ already had an Event Management Module as a part of their programme. The response and the buzz generated from these ground events encouraged us to offer a well-balanced Event-centric course to aspiring students who wanted to make a full-time career in Event Management”.

Xavier’s Diploma Courses now also includes Event Planning & Experiential Marketing

Here I am going to share a step by step process to enroll in 10- Month Diploma course in Event Planning & Experiential Marketing course of Xavier Institute of Communications
