Story behind my brainchild

Inception

eventshala is not simply a blog or a website. This is one of my dream projects. It is something that I wish I had when I was, first starting my journey in the field of event management.

Coming from a small town of Bihar, It was tough for me to having a passion for event management which was something treated as a non-traditional course way back in the year 2015. It was difficult for me to find someone who can guide me or can clear my doubts related to the event industry like what studying event management involves, what sort of things I can expect to learn, will it be a good career option and lot more queries turned to be “?” marks

Not only then, Even at the time of pursuing my master’s degree in event management, I felt the need for a resource site or a blog like eventshala.

As we all know event management is not something only limited to books and theories but it is beyond bookish knowledge it is truly based on training or on the field hustling to get experience, make mistakes and learn from them.

And I also used to believe in the same, so I kept myself more occupied in training and internships. But as I was enrolled in a university MBA degree program, Like other traditional courses I was also supposed to write exams to clear my semesters. But Unfortunately throughout my course I was more in events and less in class and even very less accessible to my course books and modules.

Eventually, the condition was same again, I was looking for something where I can get a flexible learning solution which can be customized easily, which have no boundation of time, no geographical limits and the contents can be accessed remotely from anywhere.

Though there were so many blogs, websites, or online learning portals available on the internet. But most of them are full of the exaggerated form of information where one has to go through the whole blog to find out something more relevant to their search or query.

And then I decided to start a blog which is dedicated for event management and covers all the topics from basics to the broad concepts. A blog consists of sections like

“Enlighten” in which I will write about all those questions that used to rise in my mind when I was starting out, so that anyone else will not find themselves lost and can get a complete understanding of the basic concepts which are very useful for event management aspirants.

“Engage” a section in which I will cover all the topics related to the subjects of event planning course to help to the students pursuing the course of event management easily access to the available online resources from anywhere at anytime to clear their doubts related to their exam syllabus.

“Empower” an online space where any event professional can get updated with the news and trends related to the event industry and even they can explore career opportunities available in the field of the event industry.

Overall, eventshala is a one-stop resource site for budding and existing event planners. You will find answers of all your queries and solution of all your problems. We have got you covered.
